Beach Volleyball Taken Down By Truett McConnell And Loyola

MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Returning to the Alice Reynolds Beach Courts for the second time in as many days at their home tournament, Huntingdon Beach Volleyball struggled to find their footing today, dropping matches to both Loyola and Truett McConnell 3-1. See below for the full results.

Loyola-3, Huntingdon-1

1. Morgan Suggs and Carryne Chancey were defeated by Kala Emanhelli and Madeline Carrall 21-15 and 21-10
2. Jenna Dupee and Molly Wilson were defeated by Samantha Guillotle and Kiarelis Martinez 21-15 and 21-11
3. Destin Roberts and Kinley Martin's match against Juliet Petruzelli and Isis Hanrik was trunicated
4. A'Kirra McElveen and Cheyenne Ashworth defeated Amaya Bazemore and Gabrielle Casino 21-18 in each set
5. Mileah Prince and Hannah Rutherford were defeated by Isabella Rodriguez and Zoe Barnes 21-18 and 21-19
6. Lauren Mason and Sara Cochran were defeated by Lola Blancher and Clarissa Dupree 21-17

Truett McConnell-3, Huntingdon-1

1. Morgan Suggs and Carryne Chancey were defeated by Emma Boland and Julia Fisher 21-15 and 21-14
2. Molly Wilson and Jenna Dupee were defeated by Sameily Marquez and Riley Strickland 23-21 and 21-12
3. Destin Roberts and Kinley martin's match against Camille Godfrey and Emily Reynolds was trunicated
4. A'Kirra McElveen and Cheyenne Ashworth defeated Lola Nieto and Belle Lamonica 21-15 and 23-21
5. Mileah Prince and Hannah Rutherford were defeated by Caroline Yeager and Madison Ward 21-17 and 21-10

The Hawks will look to bounce back tomorrow, February 21st, against Southern Virginia and Stevenson. Matches are set for 10:45 AM and 4:45 PM CT.
