Hawks Secure Second Straight Victory Over Concordia Before Falling To ETBU

MARSHALL, Texas- Kicking off the 2026 ETBU Tiger Invite with a pair of matches today, Huntingdon Beach Volleyball opened things with another resounding 5-0 victory over Concordia before falling to the host, East Texas Baptist, 3-2 in a nailbiter. Match one v. Concordia

1. Kinsley Martin and Morgan Suggs defeated Brooklynne Fitzgerald and Emma Rosier in three sets, winning the first 21-16, losing the second 21-16, but winning the third 17-15
2. Molly Wilson and Destin Roberts defeated Kennedy Carter and Jade Romero 21-15 and 21-11
3. Cheyenne Ashworth and Carryne Chancey defeated Hailey Dyer and Cylie-Ann Wong 21-18 and 21-9
4. Jenna Dupee and Brielle Smith defeated Summer Howard and Olivia Vu 21-10 and 21-8
5. Mileah Prince and Gracie Wallace defeated Gaby Garcia and Aniyah Thompkins 21-19 and 21-10

Match two v. ETBU

1. Kinsley Martin and Morgan Suggs were defeated by Paige Dickson and Boston Morine in three sets, falling 21-14 in the first, recovering for a 21-12 second set victory, but losing the third 15-10
2. Destin Roberts and Molly Wilson defeated Bella Fields and Caiden Lasala in three sets, winning the first 21-16, losing the second 21-18, and clinching with a 15-13 set three victory
3. Cheyenne Ashworth and Carryne Chancey defeated Caitlyn Ellenburg and Ceci Jalufka 21-14 and 22-20
4. Jenna Dupee and Brielle Smith were defeated by Katie Holloway and Emily Thomas 21-10 and 21-11
5. Mileah Prince and Gracie Wallace were defeated by Morgan Cox and Emmy Matz 21-18 in each set

The Hawks close out their time at the ETBU Tiger Invite tomorrow, March 28th, against TAMU Texarkana and Howard Payne. Matches are set for 8:00 and 10:00 AM CT.
