Beach Splits With Howard Payne And LaGrange To Conclude The 2026 AVCA Championships
GULF SHORES, Ala.- With today's pair of matches at the AVCA Beach Volleyball Championships bringing the season to a close, the Huntingdon Hawks opened with a 3-1 loss to Howard Payne before concluding with a 3-1 win over LaGrange. The Hawks have finished the 2026 season with an overall record of 12-26. See below for the match-by-match results.
Match one v. Howard Payne
- Kinsley Martin and Morgan Suggs were defeated by Emilee Casey and Samantha Torres 21-19 and 21-14
- Destin Roberts and Molly Wilson defeated Tara Bennett and Sydnie Mullins in three sets, 18-21, 21-7, 15-9
- Jessie Eunice and Brielle Smith were defeated by Halie Coon and Ashley Quizon in three sets, 8-21, 22-20, 15-4
- Jenna Dupee and Mileah Prince were defeated by Carli Briese and Baylee Burns 21-17 in each set
Match two v. LaGrange
- Kinsley Martin and Morgan Suggs were defeated by Julia Damico and Alex Krabs 21-11 and 21-13
- Cheyenne Ashworth and Carryne Chancey defeated Akajah Burton and Jasmine Gross 21-13 and 21-10
- Brielle Smith and Jessie Eunice defeated Danika Durham and Kaitlin Gilchrist in three sets, 16-21, 21-7, and 15-12
- Jenna Dupee and Mileah Prince defeated Riley Curtis and Braeden Kessler 21-18 and 21-11
