MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Huntingdon College flag football split its Saturday slate, falling 26-24 to Campbellsville University before rebounding with a 41-0 shutout of LaGrange College in their home-opening tri-match.

Game One: Campbellsville 26, Huntingdon 24

The Hawks built an 18-6 lead behind four touchdown passes from Kennedi Young and 360 total yards of offense, but a third-quarter surge from Campbellsville proved decisive.

Campbellsville scored three times in the third to take a 26-18 lead. Huntingdon answered with a fourth-quarter touchdown to pull within two, but the comeback fell just short.
