Hawks In Sixth Through Two Rounds
GREENSBORO, Nc.- Playing 36 holes today to kick off the Gate City Invitational at the Forest Oaks Country Club, #7 Huntingdon Men's Golf currently sits in the 6th place spot out of 18 teams.
As a team, the Hawks opened today with a first round score of 283(-5) before closing things out with a second round score of 297(+9). Sewanee currently leads the pack, finishing the day seven strokes under par.
Huntingdon's current front-runner is Mat Gover, who is competing as an individual in the tournament. The Atkinson, New Jersey native finds himself tied for 7th place, finishing the first round with an even- par 72 while shooting a three stroke under-par 69 to end the day. Stephen Baker leads the Hawks as a team, also tied for 7th place with scores of 67 and 74 on the day. See below for Huntingdon's full results from the first two rounds.
