Humphrey's Hole-In-One Highlights #7 Huntingdon's Third Place Finish
GREENSBORO, Nc.- Entering the third and final round as the 6th placed team at the Gate City Invitational, #7 Huntingdon Men's Golf closed out their tournament with their best round, climbing three spots in the leaderboard to finish third in the tournament.
The Hawks finished the third round with a team score of 283, five strokes under par and the lowest score for the round of all 18 teams. Headlining Huntingdon's efforts today was junior Cole Humphrey, who hit a hole-in-one on the 182 yard, par 3, 8th hole en route to his even-par score of 72 for the day. Jack Burr and Stephen Baker finished as the Hawks front-runners for the tournament, tying for fifth overall with Mat Gover, competing as an individual, scoring taking ninth.
