#1 Men's Golf Leads After Day One Of The O'Briant-Jenson Memorial
GREENSBORO, NC.- Returning to the course for the first time since being slated as the #1 ranked team in the nation, Huntingdon Men's Golf sits atop the leaderboards following the first round of the O'Briant-Jenson Memorial.
Playing The Cardinal by Pete Dye, the Hawks opened the two-round tournament with a 11 over-par 295 as a team, leading second place Methodist University by 6 strokes. Three Hawks find themselves inside the tournament's top-five, as Mat Gover leads the way with a third place individual finish followed closely by Myles Cunningham and Stephen Baker. The remaining for Huntingdon(Cole Humphrey, Jack Burr, and Jack Hundley), finished the round just outside the top-10, tying for 12th place as individuals. Freshman Owen Hadelman, competing as an individual, also pieced together a solid round, ending the day in 21st. See below for the Hawks round 1 scores.
