Hawks In Second Through 36 Holes At The Tiger Invitational
PINEHURST, NC.- Traveling to the Forest Greek Golf Course in Pinehurst, North Carolina for the Tiger Invitational hosted by Hampden-Sydney, #1 Huntingdon Men's Golf currently finds themselves in 2nd place out of 20 through 36 holes.
11 Methodist University burst onto the scene through the first day of competition, shooting a 9-under par 567 to stake a three stroke lead over the top-ranked Hawks. Through 18 holes, Huntingdon sat in 5th place, shooting 3 strokes over par, but closed strong with a nine under second round to end the day with a comprehensive 570. As he's done all season, Jack Burr leads for the Hawks currently, earning a 2nd place position on the individual leaderboard. The transfer duo of Mat Gover and Myles Cunningham trail closely however, ending today in a tie for 11th. See below for Huntingdon's round 1 and 2 scores.
