Baker Shines As #1 Men's Golf Remains In Control At The Jekyll Island Collegiate
JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga.- Continuing to excel at the Jekyll Island Collegiate, #1 Huntingdon Men's Golf utilized an eleven under-par round to cement themselves atop the leaderboard at the end of the second day.
Closing today with the third lowest round in the tournament field, the Hawks now sit six strokes ahead of the Sewanee Tigers, who ended the first round tied with Huntingdon at the top. Senior Stephen Baker served as the Hawks front-runner today, shooting a seven under-par 65 to climb from 11th individually to 2nd overall. Mat Gover joined him in climbing the ranks, ending things with a 68(-4) to move from 104th to 49th. See below for Huntingdon's round two scores.
