WILMORE, Kent.- In their final match of the regular season, Huntingdon men's soccer(3-10-1 overall, 0-6 CCS) fell to the Eagles of Asbury University 4-0.
How it happened
The Eagles shot out of the gates in the first half, capitalizing on two of their thirteen shots on the half to enter halftime ahead 2-0. The Hawks fired off four shots in the half, with Dashun McDonald and Tate Reynolds looking to spark the offense, but the duo couldn't convert on any of their tries.
The second half saw much of the same, with Asbury putting in two more goals while shutting down Huntingdon's offense to walk away with a 4-0 victory.
Huntingdon was only able to get seven shots off in the game compared to Asbury's 20.
This loss has brought an end to the Hawks regular season. The team awaits news of CCS tournament seedings to be released before the tournament begins on November 2nd.
