Hawks Narrowly Defeated At Truett McConnell
CLEVELAND, Ga.- Looking to answer following their 7-0 loss at Covenant yesterday, Huntingdon Men's Tennis battled, but ultimately dropped their match today at Truett McConnell University 4-3. See below for the full doubles and singles results.
Doubles
- Jack Morris and Tyler Garcia defeated David Matos and Juan Pablo Diaz 6-2
- William Massey and Lincoln Young defeated Santiago Vicente and David Andrau 6-2
- Sage Speer and Clayton Philley defeated Ross Stewart and Luis Antonio Hernandez 6-4
Singles
- Jack Morris defeated Santiago Vicente in three sets, winning the first 6-3, losing the next 6-4, but recovering for a 10-6 third set win
- David Matos defeated William Massey in three sets, as Massey took the first 6-2 before losing the next two 6-2 and 10-6
- Juan Pablo Diaz defeated Tyler Garcia 6-4 and 6-2
- Ross Stewart defeated Lincoln Young in three sets, as Young took the first 6-2 before dropping the next two 6-3 and 10-6
- Zach Cox defeated David Andrau in three sets, winning the first 6-4, losing the second 6-3, but winning the third 10-5
- Luis Antonio Hernandez defeated Sage Speer 7-6(7-3) and 6-3
