Montgomery, Ala.-Huntingdon Women's Basketball defeated Brevard, 57-52.
After falling behind 16-10 at the end of the first quarter and 26-18 at halftime, Brooklyn Oden gave the Hawks a 38-36 lead at 9:52 of the fourth quarter. Brevard tied the game at 38 before Alina Shoemake made a layup at 7:56 to give the Hawks a 40-38 lead.
Brevard took the lead again with 7 minutes left in the game but Lauren Lyn tied it back up with a layup at 6:10 of the fourth quarter. Brevard again took the lead until Oden tied the game at 49 with a layup at 3:21. Ry Whetstone made a layup with 2:49 left in the fourth quarter, giving the Hawks a lead that they would hold onto.
The Hawks outrebounded Brevard 49-45 and had 14 points off of 18 Brevard turnovers.
Ry Whetstone led the team with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Brooklyn Oden had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
