Gorden Tied For Third, Hawks Tied For Seventh Through 18 In Richmond
RICHMOND, Va.- Kicking off the annual Max and Susan Stith Invitational hosted by Randolph-Macon, Huntingdon Women's Golf currently finds themselves in a three-way tie for 7th place after the first round.
Even with the Washington and Lee Generals and the host team, the Hawks compiled a team score of 315 through 18 holes, 27 strokes over par and 25 strokes behind first place Carnegie Mellon. Yvette Gorden has led Huntingdon thus far, finishing round one in a tie for third place overall. Her even-par score of 72 sits three strokes behind the leader and one behind second place.
