MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Opening their 2026 campaign at home against the Bulldogs of Tennessee Wesleyan University, Huntingdon Women's Lacrosse couldn't find their footing in a 28-1 loss.
The Bulldogs drew blood first with three unanswered goals in the opening 7 minutes before Reagan Barrett snuck one past the goalie for the Hawks first goal of the season at the 6:03 mark in the quarter. Through the remainder of the contest however, it was all Tennessee Wesleyan. Huntingdon struggled to get good looks at the goal offensively, taking just 7 shots in the next three quarters while turning the ball over 22 times, resulting in the 28-1 loss at home.
The Hawks will look to bounce back at home on February 21st against Warren Wilson. Gametime is set for 11:00 AM CT.
