Reagan Barrett Named Third Team All-USA South
The USA South Athletic Conference has announced its 2026 All-Conference awards for women's lacrosse.
Huntingdon saw two athletes represented, as Reagan Barrett drew Third Team All-Conference honors, while Amara Veng was selected to the conference's all-sportsmanship team.
Barrett, a senior from Wallis, Texas, pieced together one of the most successful individual seasons in program history. In the regular season, she broke the school record for most points in a season(currently at 56), and is the only Hawk to record more than 50 points in a season. She leads the team in goals, assists, points, shots, and shots on goal. She ranks 9th in the conference in goals per game, 9th in points per game, and 7th in shots per game.
As for Veng, the St. Augustine, Florida native represents Huntingdon on the all-sportsmanship team. Throughout the year, Amara provided key leadership to a young roster, playing a key role in the Hawks success this season.
Huntingdon kicks off USA South Tournament play tomorrow, April 24th, at Methodist. Gametime is set for 12:00 PM CT.
