Women's Soccer Announces 2026 Season Schedule
MONTGOMERY, Ala.- Entering year two of the Katie Williams era of Huntingdon Women's Soccer, the Hawks have released their 2026 season slate.
Last season, the Hawks finished with a 3-10-2 record, collecting wins over Wesleyan, Agnes Scott, and Centenary while recording draws against LaGrange and MUW with a roster featuring just four seniors.
Huntingdon opens the season with a pair of exhibition matches in August on the 22nd and 26th, facing off with in-state foes Faulkner University and Wallace State Community College to get the year underway. The regular season starts on September 1st, as the Hawks hit the road to face off with the Millsaps Majors in a non-conference showdown. They follow up with another two matches in Mississippi, first taking on MUW before facing St. Thomas(Tex.) in a neutral site contest hosted in Columbus.
The Hawks then hit the road to Georgia, facing off with USA South opponents Meredith and NC Wesleyan on the 11th and 13th in neutral site matches hosted by Piedmont before taking to the pitch at the Samford Soccer complex for the first time in the regular season against Oglethorpe on the 15th. Remaining at home on the 19th, Huntingdon kicks off CCS play against the Asbury University Eagles at 1:00. Last season, the Eagles advanced to the CCS finals before falling to conference champion Belhaven. On September 22nd the Hawks hit the road again, traveling to face Berry for a pause in CCS action before traveling to Covenant on the 26th to close out the month.
The month of October gets going on the 4th, as Huntingdon stays in Georgia for a conference match at Piedmont University. Returning home, the Hawks kick off a three-match home stretch on the 6th against the United States Sports University before hosting Belhaven on the 13th and Agnes Scott on the 17th for Senior Day. The regular season comes to a close on the 17th, with Agnes Scott coming to Montgomery for Senior Day at 1:00 PM CT.
The 2026 Collegiate Conference of the South Championship Tournament gets started on October 31st with the Quarterfinals, with the Semi-Finals coming on November 3rd and the conference championship on November 7th.
