Women's Tennis Rights The Ship At Berea

BEREA, Ky.- Looking to bring an end to a three-match losing streak, Huntingdon Women's Tennis kicked off a four-match road trip against the Mountaineers of Berea College.

In an impressive showing, the Hawks proclaimed a 6-1 victory to move to to 3-4 overall on the season. See below for the full singles and doubles results of today's match.

Doubles

• Taji Williams and Lilly Brown defeated Sophie Clapp and Odrielle Uwimana 6-0
• Natalie Tedesco and Ella Hathcock defeated Angela Chen and Ti Meh 6-2
• Angelina Mazza and Dalyce Sanders defeated Diliara Galiera and Anaiah Burton 6-4

Singles

• Taji Williams defeated Sophie Clapp 6-4 and 6-0
• Natalie Tedesco defeated Odrielle Uwimana 6-1 and 6-0
• Ella Hathcock was defeated by Angela Chen in three sets, falling 6-4 in the first before recovering with a 6-1 victory. She was defeated 10-4 in the third set
• Athens DeVer defeated Ti Meh 6-4 and 6-0
• Angelina Mazza defeated Diliara Galiera 6-1 and 6-3
• Dalyce Sanders defeated Ketia Mpovila Mbiyavanga 6-0 in each set

The Hawks look to keep rolling on March 24th at Asbury. Matches are set to begin at 10:00 AM CT.
