Hawks Pick Up First Conference Victory At Maryville

MARYVILLE, Tenn.- Looking to bring an end to their two-match losing streak, Huntingdon Women's Tennis finalized their Spring break road trip with a conference match at Maryville.

The Hawks pulled out a tight 4-3 victory over the Scots, picking up their first CCS match victory of the 2025 season. See below for the full singles and doubles results of the match.

Doubles

• Lilly Brown and Taji Williams defeated Elizabeth Shwaiko and Calliana Kondolios 6-1
• Natalie Tedesco and Ella Hathcock were defeated by Abby Diggs and Alyssa Smith 6-3
• Dalyce Sanders and Angelina Mazza defeated Jasmine Muecke and Josie McRae 6-4

Singles

• Lilly Brown defeated Elizabeth Shwaiko 6-2 and 6-3
• Taji Williams defeated Calliana Kondolios in three sets, taking the first 7-5 before dropping the second 6-2. She claimed victory with a 6-0 set three victory
• Natalie Tedesco defeated Alyssa Smith 6-2 and 6-1
• Ella Hathcock was defeated by Jasmine Muecke 6-4 and 6-3
• Athens DeVer was defeated by Abby Diggs 6-3 and 7-6
• Angelina Mazza was defeated by Josie McRae 6-2 and 6-1

The Hawks look to keep rolling on April 4th at home, taking on the Covenant College Scots. Matches are set to begin at 2:00 PM CT.
