Williams Dubbed CCS Women's Tennis Player Of The Week

ATLANTA, Ga.- The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) has announced its women's tennis weekly honors, as released by the league office on Tuesday. 

Huntingdon's Taji Williams has been selected as the conference's Player of the Week.

Williams led the way for Huntingdon in a dominant 7-0 conference victory over Belhaven. Competing at the top of the lineup, the senior collected a decisive 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles. Williams also teamed up with Lilly Brown for a commanding 6-0 victory at No. 1 doubles, helping the Hawks sweep all matches on the day as they enter the conference tournament as the #3 seed.

Huntingdon Women's Tennis is set to take on Agnes Scott in the first round of the CCS tournament, you can catch Williams and the Hawks in action against the Scotties on April 24th at 2:00 PM ET.
