Brown And Williams Bring Home All-Conference Honors
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.- The Collegiate Conference of the South has announced its 2025 All-Conference awards for women's tennis.
Asbury’s Ariadna Zegarra was named CCS Women's Tennis Player of the Year, while her teammate Katherine Nova captured Rookie of the Year accolades. Piedmont women's head coach Trey Martin was recognized as the CCS Coach of the Year for the third consecutive season after an undefeated run through conference play.
Huntingdon saw two athletes recognized, as Lilly Brown was named to the first team all-conference and Taji Williams was named to the second and all-sportsmanship teams.
Throughout the season, Brown has led Huntingdon at the top of the lineup. Playing in #1 singles, she finished the regular season with a 4-3 record in CCS play, with her steady contributions playing a major role in the Hawks 9-6(5-2 CCS) season. Brown, alongside second team all-conference performer Taji Williams, finished with a 5-2 conference record in doubles play. Williams also tagged on five wins and two losses in the #2 singles spot for Huntingdon.
