Hawks Fall In CCS Tournament Semi-Finals
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.- Looking to advance to their first ever Collegiate Conference of the South Championship Match, Huntingdon Women's Tennis returned to action at the Chattanooga Champions Club as they aimed to upset the #2 overall seed, Asbury.
The Eagles ultimately downed the Hawks 4-0, eliminating Huntingdon from the conference tournament and bringing their season to a close. See below for the full doubles and singles results from today's match.
Doubles
- Lilly Brown and Taji Williams' match against Martina Paillet and Ariadna Zegarra was not finished
- Katherine Nova and Malory Watkins defeated Natalie Tedesco and Ella Hathcock 6-4
- Kourtney Kawata and Megan Moore defeated Dalyce Sanders and Angelina Mazza 6-2
Singles
- Katherine Nova defeated Lilly Brown 6-1 and 6-0
- Taji Williams' and Ariadna Zegarra's match was not finished
- Martina Paillet defeated Natalie Tedesco 6-1 in each set
