Hawks Taken Down By Luther

ORLANDO, Fla.- Continuing play in the Sunshine State, Huntingdon Women's Tennis was taken down in their third Spring Break match today by the Norse of Luther College, 7-0. See below for the full doubles and singles results.

Doubles

1. Lilly Brown and Katie-John Crow were defeated by Abby Ostermann and Allie Christensen 6-2
2. Ansley Lanier and Athens DeVer were defeated by Abby Struble and Lena Lichau 6-2
3. Dalyce Sanders and Angelina Mazza were defeated by Lot Van den Brook and Avery Schitsky 6-1

Singles

1. Lilly Brown was defeated by Abby Ostermann in three sets, winning the first 6-4 before losing the next two 6-4 and 10-8
2. Dalyce Sanders was defeated by Lena Lichay 6-1and 6-3
3. Katie-John Crow was defeated by Allie Christensen 6-0 in each set
4. Ansley Lanier was defeated by Jay Mascardo 6-0 in each set
5. Anna Beth Adams was defeated by Ale Villanueva 6-3 and 6-1
6. Athens DeVer was defeated by Abby Strubble 6-3 and 6-1

The Hawks round out play in Orlando tomorrow, March 25th against St. Lawrence. Matches are set to begin at 2:00 PM CT.
