Women's Tennis Falls In Spring Break Finale To St. Lawrence

ORLANDO, Fla.- Rounding out play at the UTSA International campus today in Orlando against St. Lawrence, Huntingdon Women's Tennis suffered a 7-0 loss at the hands of the Saints, falling to 2-9 on the year. See below for the full doubles and singles results from today's match. 

Doubles

1. Lilly Brown and Katie-John Crow defeated Abigail Sicuranza and Ellie Fritz 7-5
2. Ansley Lanier and Athens DeVer were defeated by Maya Stepic and Sarah Oldland 6-1
3. Angelina Mazza and Kayla Pearson were defeated by Alexandra Fuller and Kate Butler 6-3

Singles

1. Lilly Brown was defeated by Yvette Karera 6-1 in each set
2. Dalyce Sanders was defeated by Maya Stepic 6-0 in each set
3. Ansley Lanier was defeated by Sarah Oldland 6-1 in each set
4. Anna Beth Adams was defeated by Abigail Sicuranza 6-1 and 6-3
5. Athens Dever was defeated by Alexandra Fuller 6-1 and 6-3
6. Katie Madden was defeated by Kate Butler 6-4 and 6-2

The Hawks return to CCS play on April 2nd at Belhaven. Matches are set to begin at 1:00 PM CT.
