Hawks Roll At Belhaven

JACKSON, Miss.- Picking up their first CCS match win of the season, Huntingdon Women's Tennis hit their stride in a 6-1 win on the road over the Blazers of Belhaven University.  See below for the comprehensive doubles and singles results. 

Doubles

1. Lilly Brown and Katie Madden defeated Millie Gallarno and Becky Nichols 6-3
2. Angelina Mazza and Kayla Pearson defeated Arica Eason and Gracyn Martin 6-1
3. Dalyce Sanders and Anna Beth Adams won via default

Singles

1. Lilly Brown defeated Millie Gallarno 6-3 in each set
2. Becky Nichols defeated Dalyce Sanders in three sets, as Sanders dropped the first 6-4, wn the next 6-2, but lost the third 10-5
3. Ansley Lanier defeated Evey Moore 6-1 and 6-2
4. Anna Beth Adams defeated Arica Eason 6-2 and 6-1
5. Athens DeVer defeated Gracyn Martin 6-0 in each set

The Hawks will look to keep rolling on Friday, April 10th at Covenant. Matches are set to begin at 2:00 PM CT.
