Hawks Season Comes To An End In The CCS Quarterfinals Against Covenant
MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- Taking on the #4 seeded Covenant College Scots in the CCS Quarterfinals as the #5 seed, Huntingdon Women's Tennis started off strong by claiming the doubles point but couldn't hang on, falling 4-2 in the first round. See below for the comprehensive doubles and singles results.
DOUBLES
- Lilly Brown and Katie-John Crow were defeated by Maisie Tanchanpongs and Estee Verdery 6-0
- Dalyce Sanders and Anna Beth Adams defeated Ora Hall and Landry McKinney 6-2
- Athens DeVer and Ansley Lanier defeated Katie Cummings and Christina English 7-6(7-4)
SINGLES
- Lilly Brown was defeated by Maisie Tanchanpongs 6-2 and 6-3
- Dalyce Sanders defeated Estee Verdery 6-1 in each set
- Katie-John Crow's match against Landry McKinney was unfinshed in the second set(6-3, 5-3)
- Ansley Lanier was defeated by Katie Cummings 6-3 and 4-3
- Anna Beth Adams was defeated by Christina English 6-3 and 6-1
- Angelina Mazza was defeated by Ora Hall 6-0 and 6-2
